Free Classes
These classes are hour long introductions to Ki-Hara training and targeted to beginners, although all are welcome. Please e-mail stretchchi@gmail.com to register for class and for location information.3 Hour Intensive Workshops
In a 3 hour workshop, we cover the principles of Ki-Hara and thoroughly cover form and function for the beginning series of self-stretches. Some mashing and assisted stretching techniques will be added throughout class. Workshops are geared towards learning the stretches and methods so that you can do them at home with an understanding of why and how the Ki-Hara System works.In a workshop you will learn tools to help:
- increase flexibility
- reduce the risk of sports injury
- increase strength
- increase recovery time from sports practice
- increase muscle tone
- reduce back, shoulder and neck pain
- learn an efficient workout for the entire body
- learn tools to improve posture through muscle balancing

Certification Course and Intern Training
Ki-hara Certification consists of 5 levels of training and a 6 month internship.Carrie Collins teaches Level 1 Certifications and internships, upper level trainings are taught by Anne Tierney and Steve Sierra of Innovative Body Solutions.
In a Level 1 course, you will learn in depth the beginning self-stretching routine with variations, mashing techniques and assisted stretching through the hips and shoulders.
Trainers are open to all levels and professions - the only pre-requisite is interest! Ki-Hara Level 1 is approved by NASM (Nationally Academy of Sports Medicine) for 1.4 CEUs, ISSA (International Sports and Sciences Association) for 12 credits and NCBTMB for 12 credits.
Ki-hara certifications are held world-wide. If you are interested in hosting a training in your city, please contact Carrie@StretchChi.com. (Minimum of 10 people required).
All Certification Courses are 9am - 4pm unless otherwise noted.

This is a VERY HANDS ON class. No prior training experience required. We will go over 16 self-stretches, 16 assisted stretches, mashing, and problem-solving. Limited space available.
We would highly advise getting the Resistance Stretching with
Dara Torres DVD and flash cards before class from www.innovativebodysolutions.com -
everything else you will receive there.

Wear comfortable clothes, bring water,
a light snack, and a yoga mat (if you have one).
This is also a great class to take with a friend/spouse/partner, etc.

Level 1 Certification $500
Internships classes consist of 4 classes, workshops, observations and testing one weekend a month for 6 months after taking Level 1. All Classes are held in Chicago, IL.
