Carrie Collins, founder of Stretch Chi, a Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching practice

Meet Your Teacher, Carrie Collins

I'm honored to have been able to share my passion for Ki-Hara resistance stretching with students across 11 states and 4 countries. My journey began after years of chronic neck and shoulder pain from my work as a professional pianist. Through the power of Ki-Hara resistance stretching, I found relief and was able to get back to doing what I loved.

I've spent years honing my craft and am proud to hold certifications in the Meridian Flexibility System, Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching, Thai Massage and Reflexology. I'm grateful to my mentors Bob Cooley, Anne Tierney, Steve Sierra, and J.C. Cardona for their guidance and inspiration.

In 2007, I founded Stretch Chi in Chicago, IL, with a vision to help others discover the healing and transformative power of Ki-Hara resistance stretching. Since then, I've had the privilege to lead group classes, workshops, certification courses, retreats, and online courses. It brings me great joy to witness my students' progress and transformation.

I'm also grateful for the opportunities to share my knowledge and experience at various events, such as the Mindbody Online BOLD Conference in 2015 and the Resistance Stretching Symposium in 2016. My work has been featured in notable publications, including Health Magazine, Vogue Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Public Radio, and Time Out Chicago.

Thank you for considering me as your guide on your journey to optimal health and wellness.
